The Story of Purim
Told in the Book of Esther (“Megillah”) and celebrated on the holiday of Purim, the Purim story takes place in ancient Persia following the destruction of the first Holy Temple.
Wicked Haman convinces King Ahasuerus to have the Jews killed. Encouraged by her cousin Mordechai, Queen Esther, the king’s unwilling wife, risks her life to intercede on her people’s behalf.
The result is a stunning reversal, which is celebrated each year on Purim.

Where did Haman come from? In other words why did he have a grudge against the Jews?
The Megillah tells us that Haman was a descendant of Agag (Esther 9:24) and therefore by extension a descendant of the Amalekite nation which always bore a hatred to the Jewish people. He became enraged when only Mordechai the Jew didn't bow down to him (Esther 3:2), and this sparked his genocidal campaign against the Jewish people.
Beyond this, the Midrashic writings also tell us that he had a personal grudge against Mordechai from years earlier. You can read more about this here.
Haman descendant from amalek...amalek has an evil spirit, this spirit is passed on this hatred is passwd on because it is evil, wanting to destroy, but HaShem will do justice soon. The septer belongs to Judah! The victory has already been won!
Haman was an ancient dictator. Look at the modern once today, Everyone always has to bow down. To me, the modern followers are the modern Jews who vote for bad politicians. That's why I love Esther. She stood up against being told what to do. Like, not wanting to be in an abusive relationship.
