Mini Gan Campers Orientation

Mini Gan Campers (Toddler thru entering PreK) are invited to meet their Morahs on Wednesday, June 26 from 2-4 PM. Please bring your child's supplies to drop off at orientation, as this will avoid the first day rush. (Please see parent handbook for a supplies list.)

Carpool

Drop off is from 9-9:30 AM and Pick up is from 3-3:30 PM. For everyone's safety it is imperative that everyone follow the carpool procedures carefully. Click this link to see a visual diagram of carpool procedures. Please pay attention and follow the instructions of Joe, our security officer, as well as other staff during carpool. DO NOT EVER PARK OR ABANDON YOUR CAR IN THE CARPOOL LINE.

Transportation

For the benefit of our camp families, we have once again partnered with a transportation company to transport our campers to and from camp. We are now planning routes which will be sent out before the start of camp. You can check your UltraCamp account to see if you have selected the transportation option.

Early & After Care

Early care is daily from 8:30am and After Care is until 4:30 pm. The early / after care room is in the playroom that is at the end of the building (past the gym). Check your account or contact the office at 845-634-0951 to see if you are registered for early or after care.

Calendar

A camp calendar can be viewed at this link. Please be advised that calendar events are subject to change and we will do our best to notify when and if that's the case.

Food & Allergies
We are a nut-aware campus. We do not serve any products containing nuts or that are made in factories where cross-contamination is possible. We ask that families bringing their own lunch or snack respect this and only allow campers to bring nut-free foods.

Snacks
Camp only provides snacks for the mini gan. Campers are welcome to bring a kosher certified, nut-free snack to be eaten during the morning hours. Our signature freeze-pops will still be handed out at the end of day :)

Lunch
For those on the lunch plan, Camp provides a daily delicious and nutritious lunch. A lunch menu will be sent out prior to camp and will be posted on our website as well under the camp info tab.

Camp Communication

  • Please address all admin related questions to our front desk at 845-634-0951 or at [email protected]

  • The best way to stay up-to-date with Camp Gan Israel is via WhatsApp and Email.

  • You can join our WhatsApp community at this link and see our various groups to join. More groups will be added, as we get closer to camp.

Private Swim Instruction

Camp endeavors to teach our campers to swim with whole group instruction. If you would like private lessons after camp (one to one or small group) to help them develop their swim skills at a higher level, please reach out to our aquatic director, Bracha Mitzmann, at (845) 826-4888 and she will follow up with you.

Payment

Please take a moment to review your account and make sure the balance is correct. Also, please make sure payment or a payment plan has been set up. If you have not set this up, please contact the front office at 845-634-0951.
